Aged in Cuba for a minimum of 5 years, stored in ideal conditions for preservation, allowing these cigars to develop in complexity without losing their initial characteristics. Through the aging process these cigars have become rounder and mellower to the palate. The boxes carry the original roll date, as well as the “Revisado” (Checked) stamp on the bottom of the box.
Named after Edmundo from the Count of Montecristo, by Alexandre Dumas, the Edmundo is a well balanced cigar, perhaps not as strong as one normally expects from the Montecristo brand. Nevertheless, lots of chocolate, coffee and vanilla nuances abound and that wood and leather smoke. Enjoy with a glass of cognac or, perhaps, an Irish whisky.
